Tips For Stopping Excessive Sweating Fast

Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis always seems to happen at all the worst times. I think that this is true because important times in our lives often include many people ,like for our jobs or relationships.

And if you havnt yet found a treatment for your hyperhidrosis, you may need some helpful tips for an “Emergency” solution.

Normally, we KNOW when we are about to face one of those situations that may cause or sweating problem to break out. And if we do know when one of these times will arise, we can give ourselves a fighting chance to stop the Hyperhidrosis from ruining our day.

1. Tomato Juice

O.K. -If you have plenty of time in advance, this will usually work.(I say usually, because everyone reacts differently to all types of treatments) By drinking a full, 16 – 20 oz. glass of Tomato Juice EVERYDAY, you will seriously slow down your excessive sweating.

I recommend giving yourself anywhere from 3-5 days in advance. For long term usage, I would suggest that you drink 1 glass of tomato Juice for a week to 10 days and then slow down to 1 glass every 2 days.

2. Diet

This method should definitely be used in conjunction with step 1. When we know we are going to be in a situation that may cause our Hyperhidrosis to flare up, we can adjust our diet and food intake as a way to slow down the excessive sweating.

A great way to do this, is to split your meals into smaller portions.

Try making around 4-7 meals instead of the normal 3. I recommend atleast 6 meals. By eating in smaller quantities, our body doesnt have to spend as much energy on digestion. I know it doesnt sound like much – but it does make a difference. (Try to make sure that you eat as small a portion as possible before you are to appear to any place that may make you uncomfortable)

3. Cornstarch

Now this is an “outside” remedy. By spreading the Cornstarch on our armpits and other under parts of our body that sweat excessively, we can limit the amount of wetness that appears on our bodies.

The great thing about cornstarch is that it will absorb 100′s of times its own surface area. And when it absorbs our initial sweat, we are much more likely to stay calm and feel comfortable. And that will prevent our bodies from producing that excess seat that makes things that much more difficult.

4. Avoid Things That Trigger Hyperhidrosis

Another thing we should do to is make sure to avoid things that can cause our bodies to produce more sweat -or triggers.

Some of the most commons foods that cause profuse sweating are:

  • Caffeine
  • Chocolate (sorry ladies)
  • Chips and Other Similar Snacks
  • Simple Sugars
  • Trans Fatty Acids
  • And even alcohol can effect our Hyperhidrosis -(This varies between different people, its about 50-50)

Eliminate these items before your big day or your first day at a new job and you will have a great chance at a comfortable day.
